The engine oil cannot be used after a period of time, and it needs to be replaced. The performance of engine oil changes because the oil enters impurities, and the oil itself produces harmful substances. However, whether the oil needs to be replaced should be considered from the following aspects:
Viscosity: too high oil viscosity, low temperature start and pump performance changes, cooling effect decline, on the engine friction and wear have adverse effects. Too low viscosity, oil lubrication, will increase wear. Therefore, most viscosity indicators are 100 degree scrap.
Moisture: Due to the wide range of engine temperatures, a small amount of cooling water is inevitably injected into the oil. Therefore, the maximum moisture content of engine oil has been set at 0.5%. The excess is probably free water.
Impurities: Oil contamination can be generally determined from n-pentane and insoluble solids.
Acid value: Engine bearings are most susceptible to acid corrosion, and new oleic acid values sometimes exceed 0.5 law. Therefore, the acid value of the oil is determined to be the maximum according to the changes of additives and acid value in the oil.
Flash point: Flash point is also an indicator to determine whether the oil is scrapped.
After the lubricating oil is polluted, a vacuum oil filter is used to filter the oil to restore the original index. Vacuum oil filter is a professional for dewatering waste oil, removing impurities, water-soluble acid, etc., so that the degraded oil after treatment to improve the pressure value.
