General usage of plate and frame pressure oil filter equipment

Before operation, carefully clip the filter paper with well punched holes between each filter plate and filter frame. The quantity of each layer of filter paper is generally 2-3 pieces, depending on the filtration requirements and the quality of filter paper. When clamping the filter paper, make sure that the two oil holes on the filter paper and the oil holes on the filter plate filter frame are the same. Filter paper should be dried before use at a drying temperature of about 120℃. When using the used filter paper, the filter paper must be dried, and there should be no damage, pay attention to the filter residue side (dirty side) should be placed against the filter frame, not against the filter plate, so as not to filter residue in the process of washing down, contaminating the filtered oil. When the filter pressure is high and the filter paper is found to break, the filter cloth can be lined on the ground side of the filter plate to increase the strength of the filter paper.
After the filter paper is put in place, turn the handwheel to press the filter plate. When pressing the filter plate, only one person is allowed, and the press handle should not be lengthened for tightening, so as not to damage the equipment. Close the sampling valve. If there is a valve on the oil drain line, open the valve.
Switch on the motor power and make the oil filter work. The normal working pressure of the oil filter will change with the viscosity of the oil filtered and the resistance of the pipeline expelled. Generally, the initial pressure of filtration is low in the range of 0.05~ 0.mpa. With the increase of water absorbed by the filter residue and filter paper, the pressure will increase gradually.
In the process of oil filtration, the oil sample can be extracted by unscrewing the nozzle for sampling. After filtration, loosen the pressing device, take out the filter paper piece by piece, clean the filter paper and filter residue in the filter frame, replace the filter paper and clamp the pressure again, and cover the oil tank.
