How to deal with transformer cooling system fault

For forced oil circulation air-cooled, water-cooled and water-cooled transformers, when the cooling system (fan, submersible oil pump, cooling water system, etc.) fails and the cooling device is stopped, the following treatment shall be carried out:
(1) In case of optical word signals of "failure of working power of cooling device" or "failure of standby Power" on the transformer control panel, the cause shall be immediately found out and the cooling device shall resume working as soon as possible.
(2) When the optical word signal "cooling water interruption" appears on the transformer control panel, the cause shall be promptly checked and the cooling device shall resume working.
(3) If the above two fault signals occur at the same time, attention should be paid to the change of oil on the transformer upper layer and oil level of the oil pillow. When the cooling device is out of service, the oil temperature will rise sharply and the oil may escape from the explosion-proof tube (or safety airway). When the cooling device resumes operation and the oil level of the oil pillow drops sharply again, and the oil level drops below -20℃ and continues to decline, the heavy gas protection device should be stopped immediately. If the cooling unit cannot be resumed within the specified time, the duty shall be reported long and the transformer withdrawn from operation.
