How do you tell if the camshaft sensor is broken

Small series with you to learn about the camshaft position sensor detection method and fault diagnosis and elimination method:
Methods/Steps

Disconnect the ignition switch and press the sensor wire to connect. Plug the device and connect the positive and negative meters of the multimeter with terminals 1 and 3 respectively. When the ignition switch is switched on, the voltage shall be above 4.5V. If the voltage is zero, the wiring harness has a break or a short circuit. Or the ECU is faulty; When the ignition switch is disconnected, the conductor should be continued to detect whether there is a break or short circuit;

2. The resistance value between the 3 terminals of the sensor and the 67 terminals of the ECU shall not be greater than 1.5 ohms. If the resistance is too large or infinite, it indicates that the wire harness has bad contact or the wire is broken, the wire harness should be repaired or replaced.
